Introduction

On Final Approach is an aviation history studio and gallery founded and operated by Karl Lau … a craftsman and artist who served as a Navy pilot during World War II.

Drawing on his own experience, and dedicated to honoring and remembering the men and machines that fought in and won that great conflict, Karl has produced a limited edition of truly unique multi-media sculptures.

Each one is handcrafted using carefully restored parts from the original aircraft that flew over Europe and the Pacific, along with new components that are produced with the same materials and techniques used in the original construction of these amazing aircraft.

Only a very few serious collectors will be able to obtain these works by Mr. Lau as they are released to availability from time to time.
